久しぶりに大人買いした、勿論私はファンではなかったのだが、、
それが証拠にDavid Bowieの追悼会DJを自分は催していたが、その数ヶ月後プリンスが亡くなられてもいっさい作品をチェックしていなかったのだ。

当時会社の飲み会で同僚に自己紹介することになってDavid Bowieの追悼会DJの話をした時に「プリンスの追悼会はしますか？」と尋ねられてもきっぱりとやりませんといってしまっていましたね。
それから5年の月日がたって彼には何十枚でもアルバムを発表できるだけの楽曲のストックがあることを知り、また家内がファンであること、歌詞の内容も知りたいことから思い切ってスーパー・デラックス・エディションを購入することとなりましたよ。
数回聴いたがはっきりいってまったく良さがわからないが、過去の経験からまったくわからない場合、解釈が出来ない場合、そう自分の領域に入っていない作品は後でじわじわお気に入りになっていくのである。
私の知らない世界がまた増えることになったのである。

I've listened to it a few times and I'm not sure how good it is, but if I don't understand it from past experience, or if I can't interpret it, I'll gradually become a favorite of works that aren't in my area.
The world I didn't know was increasing again.
