超久しぶりに全作品をチェックしたくなった作曲家、Giacinto Scelsi(2017.3.21)

まずきっかけは「Anahit」という曲をNHKFMで紹介されてから、、、

一つの音の倍音成分の変化や、近接する周波数によって発するうなりが、脳内で響き渡り虜となってしまった。

これは多分、音響現象を音波として捉えその倍音をスペクトル解析したり理論的に倍音を合成することによる作曲の方法論をとるスペクトル学派にScelsiが影響を与えていたからで現代のelectronicaにそのまま直接通じることだ。

この数年electronicaを傾聴してきた僕が虜になったのも当然と言える。

2,3枚購入して聴いたがどれもアコースティックのみで、現存するどのelectronica作品よりも倍音が豊かであると思ってしまう。

electronica作品には人の演奏でできないことを期待していくと同時に

彼の作品は共同作曲者がいたことで多作に繋がっていて多くあり、シンプルな現代音楽のエッセンスをチェックしていきたい。
